Cheers to all the beautiful women in my life- each and every one of you deserves to be celebrated. We become who we are by the people we surround ourselves with, and I am grateful to have strong, smart, gorgeous women around me. Whether or not you have children of your own, at some point you have probably mothered me- and for that I will love you forever. Thank you for sharing your lives, your loves, and your families, with me so cheers sisters.
I happen to be a fan lately of the Cocktails that can easily be transitioned into a delicious Mocktail. It leaves no one wanting, and everyone can indulge to whatever their particular comfort levels are. These make a great mocktail, the ginger beer is caffeine free- making it a perfect option for the new mama’s and the non-drinkers at the party. For an extra gingery kick garnish with a few peels of fresh ginger and an extra squeeze of fresh lime.
Yield: One Serving
6oz Ginger Beer
Juice Fresh Squeezed Lime
2 oz Tonic Water (or Vodka)
Garnish with Lime and Mint leaves
Combine everything in a copper mug or tall glass, add crushed ice- stir to combine. Garnish and serve. If you want to get really wild you can make lime and mint ice cubes ahead of time, this will also reduce the amount of watering down that will happen as the ice cubes melt and increase the flavor of the lime and mint. I would definitely do this if you are going to make these in a pitcher.
