When you know, you know. With this one, we knew right away. There is such a thing as love at first sight isn’t there….? Apparently when it comes to desserts there is. It’s a keeper you guys. Did I mention we have a serious frozen yogurt problem? Truth hurts. It couples nicely with my sprinkle addiction, Hub’s is bound and determined to break me of that early childhood habit, fat chance. Fat. Chance. However, this treat is the best thing that has come out of my kitchen in the last- well … couple of hours at least! (we have been doing TONS o’ cookin and not enough bloggin… I solemnly swear to stop neglecting you in the near future.)
It is definitely one of my favorites though, so simple!!!!
Just make sure you start adding the mixture while your ice cream maker is running, and if you freeze it solid let it thaw a little on the counter before serving. Otherwise its literally the perfect consistency when it comes out of the ice cream maker. I haven’t tried just mixing it and freezing it without churning it first- but I’m sure that’s a possibility, give it a go and let me know how it works out. The ingredients are totally adjustable, if you’d like it a little more tart, halve the sugar (its so easy my head hurts a little from rolling my eyes).
