And welcome to a small piece of my world. I’m Lisa, and this is my kitchen-
Living in the Great Northwest I have access to a vast array of culinary explorations. I’m not all to interested in foraging the neighborhood for salad greens, but there is a special place in my heart for whole-good-for-you ingredients. I was trained as a Pastry Chef and have worked in various kitchens and bakeries over the years- I’m not sure if this explains my obsession with sharp knives and sprinkles, but it could.
I often have family, friends, and coworkers asking for recipes and advice, and thus summer of 2015 – 17th Street Kitchen food blog was born. I’ll be here sharing myself, my gifts, my talents, my family, my opinions, and my everyday life successes and failures…with you.
